I have 30 years experience in the classroom, the last 14 of which were spent teaching economics, macroeconomics, finance and personal investing to high school seniors. I see my financial consulting job as an extension of my work in the field of teaching economics. I have a bachelor's degree and a master' degree from Stephen F. Austin State University. I have extensive training in economics and investing and am Series 7, Series 66, and Series 31  licensed.

 

I am a native of Tatum and have lived in East Texas all my life. My husband of 34 years, Leonard, teaches at Tatum High School. Our son, Downs, recently graduated from Vanderbilt University and is currently volunteering in Zanzibar, Tanzania and our daughter, Elizabeth, graduated from Harvard University and is at UCLA Law. I believe that community service is a civic duty and with the support of the Kiwanis of Greater Lakeport, I am the advisor to the Tatum High School Key Club. We participate in numerous community and area-wide service projects yearly. I am a member of Zonta and the Federated Clubs of Longview.  I enjoy reading, traveling and spending time with my family.
