I graduated from Gettysburg College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English in 1990, and have been guiding clients on their financial journey since 1998. I earned my CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation in 2004 and have since gained a more universal understanding of my clients’ financial lives. This helps me guide my clients away from snares in their path in order to avoid costly mistakes and also leads us to coordinate our efforts with other professional advisors to find the best solution for their financial challenges.   2010 Five Star Wealth Manager award winner as published in Delaware Today's August 2010 issue.

 

I am Vice President of the Board of Directors for Mid-Atlantic Ballet, an assistant scoutmaster for BSA Troop 50, trustee for the Knights of Columbus, Holy Angels Council and a lifesaver at the blood bank of Delmarva.  I am a member of the Phi Sigma Kappa Fraternity Alumni Club and the Gettysburg College Philadelphia Alumni Club.  I volunteer for Homeward Bound, a shelter for homeless families in Newark, DE.  I am a former Grand Knight (2001- 2002) of the Knights of Columbus, Holy Angels Council.

Personal hobbies include the Wilmington & Western Railroad, home brewing lagers & ales, hiking, camping and watersports.  Thanks to my family:  my son, Jamie, a junior at Salesianum High School,  my daughters; Emily, a freshman at St. Mark's High School and Daisy, who is in 4th grade at Holy Angels School.  Lastly, I wouldn't be me without the love and support of my lovely wife Karen.
